sqlserver probe gives connection error

Issue/Introduction

After installing the "sqlserver" probe on a Windows 2003 - UIM robot, when I manually use the test button, it says: 

 

COM error: code= 0x800a0e7a=ADODB. Connection Description = Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.

Environment

UIM 8.x,9.x,20.x

Component: sqlserver v5.41 or higher

Windows 2003/2003R2

Cause

- Windows 2003 OS is not supported

Resolution

The probe needs to install on a supported OS type and version.

As per the probe support matrix:

The sqlserver probe is not supported for Windows 2003 machines. The sqlserver probe is currently supported for the following OSes:

x86
 -Windows 7
- Windows 2008

x86_64
- Windows 7
- Windows 2008
- Windows 2008 R2
- Windows 2012
- Windows 2012 R2
- Windows 2016
