Issue/Introduction
Symptoms
We have found the following situation in existing environments: Having a lua script running as a preprocessing rule on all alerts, if the alert is equals to "robot xxx is inactive" alert (1.2.2), then it changes the message to "{customername} machine is not contacting {hubname} in {location}"
In IM the alerts shows up correctly, however, in ump it does not, showing the wrong alert message.
Why is this problem being produced, and how to resolve it?
Solution
It has been reported that the nas probe may ignore any messages being customized using NAS pre-processing rules if internationalization is enabled.
The UMP portal shows the international language data not the actual message.? If you disable internationalization support in the nas probe and clear all alerts, this will work fine.
