Introduction:
How can I send Alarm Data from Secondary to Primary Hub
In order to pass alarm data to your primary hub, you can either set up appropriate queues between your secondary and primary hub or you can set up a second nas on your secondary hub. This procedure describes both processes.

This article discusses two procedures to send alarm data to your primary hub.

Instructions:
Follow these steps to install and configure a second nas:

1. Open the hub probe GUI on the second hub.
2. Navigate to the Queues tab .
3. Click on New.
4. Check Active, specify nas for Name, specify attach for Type, specify Alarm for Subject as shown below:
5. Click OK
6. Click on the OK button on the hub GUI.
7. Deactivate the nas probe and when it turns gray re-activate it.
8. Configure the nas on the secondary server to export alarms to your primary nas by opening the nas GUI and navigating to the Setup tab/Forwarding & Replication tab.
9. Click on Relay forwarded alarm events and add a new definition by choosing the Destination Alarm Server and other forwarding and replication options as required and as shown here:
10. Configure the primary nas to import alarms from the secondary nas.
Follow this procedure if no nas is used on your secondary hub:

1. Open the hub probe GUI on the secondary hub.
2. Navigate to the Queues tab .
3. Click on New.
4. Name your new queue something like alarms_to_main_hub, check Active, specify attach for Type, specify Alarm for Subject:
5. Click on OK.
6. Click on OK on the hub GUI.
7. On the main hub create a queue called something like alarms_from_secondary_hub. Check Active, specify get for Type, specify the secondary hub for Address, choose the alarm queue you created on the secondary hub as the Queue here:
8. Click on OK
9. Click on OK on the hub GUI
