Issue/Introduction

Troubleshooting tips for the vmax probe.

Environment

- vmax devices

Resolution

• The probe uses EMC API commands to talk to the vmax servers called the Solutions Enabler CLI (command line interface)
• The output from the commands is stored in the vmax/data/ folder
• You can add a demo mode key in Raw Configure to test the probe (demo = true)
• If you open a support case, attach a zip of the data directory and the probe logs at loglevel 3 to any support case you open for the probe
• You can ignore the pom.properties error in the GUI in the 1.3 version of the probe.
