Configuring UMP List Viewer to use the S_QOS_SNAPSHOT Table

Issue/Introduction

Summary:

List Viewer can use S_QOS_SNAPSHOT table to obtain the last sample value for a QoS object.

Background:

This is helpful in finding the last (most recent) sample value of a QoS object.

Environment:

UIM/UMP 7.x or higher

Instructions:

1. In the <ump_common> section of the wasp configuration, add/edit the key lists_use_snapshot, and set its value to true.

2. In the <setup> section of the data_engine configuration:

     a.  Add/edit the key update_last_value, and set its value to yes.
     b.  Add/edit the key lsv_sleep, and enter a value in seconds.
          Note: The lsv_sleep key determines the interval, in seconds, between each batch update data_engine makes to
          the S_QOS_SNAPSHOT table.
