Customers may find after initial deployment of the webservice_rest package to UMP that they are unable to access the REST API callbacks with the built-in administrator account.
An error will be observed indicating that the user does not have access to the Web Service, even when using the Superuser ACL.
There are two ways to correct this.
I. The easiest way is to open Infrastructure Manager, and navigate to Security->Manage ACLs. ?From here, click "OK" without making any changes. ?This causes a reset of the user permissions and corrects the issue.
II. For users who can't or do not wish to access Infrastructure Manager, you can take the following steps:
1. Locate the file \Nimsoft\probes\service\distsrv\base_acls.cfg
2. Edit the file with any text editor, e.g. Notepad, vi, etc.
