Login Failure to Hub Even Though Password is Correct

Issue/Introduction

Problem:

I  cannot login to the hub using Infrastructure Manager or UMP even though my password has not been changed.

Environment:

hub, Infrastructure Manager, Admin Console 

 

Resolution:

Check in the hub.cfg file under the /hub section for following key:

login = normal

The login key has three possible values:

normal = Logins to hub are available from anywhere on the network
local = Logins to hub are available ONLY from the local machiine where hub is installed
nobody = This hub does not allow logins

If the value of login' is set to 'nobody' , change it to 'normal' and then restart the Nimsoft Watcher Service and you should be able to login.
