Communication error occurs when opening vmware probe GUI or storage probes

Issue/Introduction

Summary: 

When opening the configuration GUI for the vmware or certain storage probes (clariion, for example), IM will throw an error:

"Unable to contact /<domain>/<hub>/<robot>/controller communication error (80040402)"

Resolution

This is caused by probes with large configuration files (above 1.5 MB in size), which are in turn generated by probes that use auto and static monitors. Large numbers of static monitors on these probes will cause the size of the configuration file to grow past 1.5 MB.

To reduce the size of the configuration file, it is recommended to use Auto-monitors whenever possible, and avoid creating static monitors except when there is no other alternative.
