Deployment day 2 actions not visible/available for some deployments on VMware Aria Automation 8.x

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Deployment day 2 actions not visible/available for some deployments on VMware Aria Automation 8.x

 

• "Resize Disk" Day2 action is not available for the vSphere VM whereas  the following Action "Cloud.vSphere.Machine.Resize.Compute.Disk" is Missing on content& policies >> Day2 Action Policy. 

Environment

VMware vRealize Automation 8.x

Cause

• This happens if the no action is associated to the project for deployments as day2 policies on Aria Automation.

Resolution

• The resolution is to add day 2 actions policies for the project.
• Steps :

1. Login to vRA UI --> Service Broker --> Content Policies --> Policies --> Definitions, you can see actions are missing:

2. Add the action "Deployment.*"

3. Save
4. Try the actions from Deployments now and you all deployment actions should appear now:
