Title: License expired alarm
Event ID: licenses.license_expired
Alarm Description

• Purpose: A license has expired
• Impact: A license has expired, the features licensed by this license are impacted

Environment

VMware NSX

Resolution

Versions prior to 9.0

• Add a new, non-expired license with same type and delete the expired one.
• On NSX UI, System > Licenses click ADD and specify the key of the new license.
• The expired license should be deleted by checking the checkbox of the license, then click DELETE.
  
  

Versions 9.0 and above

• Assign a new, non-expired license to vCenter or NSX Manager from License Hub.
• Log in to the NSX UI and navigate to System > Licenses,  click REFRESH to synchronize the latest licenses.
