Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Unable to download Export Event Results, Export Chart Data, Export Content Pack, and Export Support Bundle in VMware vRealize Log Insight 3.3.2.

Environment

VMware vRealize Log Insight 3.6.x
VMware vRealize Log Insight 3.3.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Log insight 3.3.2.

This issue is resolved in VMware vRealize Log insight 4.5, available at VMware Downloads.

To work around this issue if you do not want to upgrade:
  1. Log in to vRealize Log Insight.
  2. Click Interactive Analytics tab or Content Packs.
  3. Open the developer console for your web browser.

    Note: For more information on opening the developer console, see your web browser documentation.

  4. In the console window, enter:

    javascript:fileRequestTime=new Date().getTime().toString();callback=null;

  5. Press the Enter key.
  6. Click Export or Save Button.
