Cause
This issue occurs when Standard and vSphere with Operations Manager licenses do not allow importing of reports.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, run the opscli command to reimport the default Reports and Views.
To upgrade the VMware vRealize Operations license to import reports and views:
- Log in to vRealize Operations Manager Master node as root via console or SSH.
- Navigate to opscli directory by running this command:
cd /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/tools/opscli
- Run the following command to re-import all of the default Reports and Views:
Version 6.2.1 and Lower
./ops-cli.sh report import /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/plugins/inbound/vmwarevi_adapter3/conf/reports/all-reports-and-views/content.xml
Version 6.3.x
./ops-cli.sh report import /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/plugins/inbound/vmwarevi_adapter3/conf/reports/all-reports-and-views -–force
Version 6.4 and Up
./ops-cli.sh report import /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/plugins/inbound/vmwarevi_adapter3/conf/reports/all-reports-and-views -–force
./ops-cli.sh report import /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/plugins/inbound/vmwarevi_adapter3/conf/reports/vSphereDashboards-views -–force
