Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
vRSLCM UI (https://<IP/hostname>/vrlcm ) might not be accessible when product is up and running for more than 20 days.

Environment

VMware vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 1.x

Cause

This issue occurs due to an issue in xenon service.

Resolution

Currently there is no resolution. 

To workaround the issue:
  1. SSH to vRSLCM using root credentials.
  2. Stop the xenon service by running the command:
systemctl stop vlcm-xserver
  1. Start the xenon service by running the command:
systemctl start vlcm-xserver
 
 
Note: In next vRSLCM version, there will be an UI option to restart the xenon service from common configuration in settings tab.
