"There are errors during the scan operation" during update manager Scan operation after Upgrading vCenter Server Appliance from 6.5 to 6.7

Issue/Introduction
After upgrading vCSA from 6.5 to 6.7, the “Scan for Updates” always runs into error.
Error: There are errors during the scan operation. Check the events and log files for details.
You may see vSphere Update Manager log reporting errors against "MISSING_DEPENDENCY_VIBS". We get the below error in the location: /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server.log
'HostUpgradeScanner' INFO] [scannerImpl, 679] Precheck script test result: 'SUCCESS', test 'MISSING_DEPENDENCY_VIBS', expected '', found '' and errortype is 28
Environment
VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
Cause
The above errors were only reported after the vCenter upgrade from 6.5 to 6.7 due to missing dependency vibs.
Resolution
Steps to reset the Update Manager Database
Note: Please take a Snapshot of VCSA before following below steps:
1. Connect vCSA via SSH. 2. Stop the VMware Update Manager Service:
service-control --stop vmware-updatemgr
3. Run the following command to reset the VMware Update Manager Database:
vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 : /usr/lib/vmware-updatemgr/bin/updatemgr-util reset-db
vCenter Server Appliance 6.7: /usr/lib/vmware-updatemgr/bin/updatemgr-utility.py reset-db
4. Run the following Command to delete the contents of the VMware Update Manager Patch Store:
rm -rf /storage/updatemgr/patch-store/*
5. Start the VMware Update Manager Service:
service-control --start vmware-updatemgr
6. Log out and log back in to the vSphere Web Client.
Additional Information
Impact/Risks: Please make a note that any custom created baselines will get deleted. You have to recreate new Baselines and groups, assign them to your cluster or ESXi hosts. Only the predefined Baselines will be available.
