While deploying VM from Content Library template, Web-client doesn't prompt the user to enter the ip address as per the Guest Customization Spec.

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
From Content Library when a VM is deployed the Guest Customization option 'Prompt IP address' option under Network wizard does not ask an IP address.

Deploy a VM from Content Library Templates or Deploy a VM from the uploaded OVF file in Content Library, when the Guest Customization option is selected during Network selection in the Wizard user do not have option to enter the IP address.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in vCenter 6.5P03- EP3

Workaround:
To workaround this issue apply the guest customization after deploying the VM from the Content Library.
