A black box is displayed when editing Network Settings using the vCenter VAMI UI in Google Chrome 104 or earlier versions

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to edit the VCSA networking configuration using the vCenter Appliance Management Interface (VAMI) UI, as the Edit settings page of the dialog under Networking > Networking setting > Edit > Next only shows a black box as in the screenshot below
• The issue is seen in vCenter 7.0 with certain versions of Google Chrome (104 or earlier)

 

 

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 7.0.x

Resolution

This issue is fixed in vCenter Server 7.0 Update 3i and later versions.

If you are unable to patch the vCenter Server to a fixed version, please use a newer version of Google Chrome or a different browser when editing the networking configuration of the VCSA.
