VUM stops working when one of the VCs is patched to 6.7 P01 in enhanced linked mode with error "Could not resolve dependencies for plugins packages"

Issue/Introduction
To use the Update manager in mixed versions.
Symptoms:
During the patch update of vCenters in enhanced linked mode, when one of the vCenter is updated to later patch VMware Update Manager(VUM) stops working.
The update manager tab goes missing on the other vCenter servers which are in lower build.
The VUM plugins are only visible for the upgraded vCenter in HTML client.
In the vSphere_client_virgo.log similar entry is seen

Environment
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.x
Cause
Newest VUM version i.e. the one provided by the 6.7 P01 vCenter Server is not compatible with 6.7 U1 vSphere HTML Client due to the Client version being lower than the required one.
Resolution
Currently there is no resolution.
Workaround:
Open the plugin-package.xml from the below location
