Issue/Introduction

To use the Update manager in mixed versions.

Symptoms:
  • During the patch update of vCenters in enhanced linked mode, when one of the vCenter is updated to later patch VMware Update Manager(VUM) stops working.
  • The update manager tab goes missing on the other vCenter servers which are in lower build.
  • The VUM plugins are only visible for the upgraded vCenter in HTML client.
  • In the vSphere_client_virgo.log  similar entry is seen
[2020-01-27T18:47:27.336Z] [ERROR] e-extension-mngr-pool-103736 70079665 109838 200093 com.vmware.vise.extensionfw.impl.PackagesDeployer                 Could not resolve dependencies for plugins packages: [ com.vmware.vum.client:6.7.0.41905 requires: [ com.vmware.vsphere.client.html greaterOrEqual 6.7.0.30000 ]; ];

Environment
