Cannot send keys to the guest OS by using Open browser console

Issue/Introduction

To be able to send keys to the guest OS.

Symptoms:

• Cannot send keys to the guest OS by using the Open browser console

          For example
         1)Open ESXi host client, and select one Windows 10 VM, click "Open browser console".
         2)On the opened browser console, click "Actions -> Guest OS -> send keys -> Ctrl+Alt+Delete"
         3)There is no response in the guest OS.      
 

• Guest OS can receive sent keys and response when using IE version 11 in Windows 10, send keys to guest works as expected.
• This issue is not seen in ESXi 6.7 U1.

Cause

API does not match to the new keycodes.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in  VMware vSphere ESXi 6.7 Patch ESXi670-201905403-BG. To download go to Customer Connect Patch Downloads

Workaround:
The workaround is to press the corresponding key on the keyboard.
