vRO scheduled workflows or triggered workflows from VRA fails with no error in the UI

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• VMware Aria Orchestrator (formally vRealize Orchestrator) scheduled workflows or triggered workflows from VMware Aria Automation (formally vRealize Automation) fails with no error in the UI.
• If manually running the workflow it may succeed
• Errors similar to the below can be found in the /services-logs/prelude/vco-app/file-logs/vco-server-app.log:

  workflow 'RE Scheduled Task - "Name of the wf" for Finalizing for wfExecution[be84xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx58b6]
  java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.vmware.o11n.plugin.vcac.model.inventory.EntitiesFinder
  at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) ~[?:?]

Environment

VMware vRealize Orchestrator 8.x

Cause

Legacy vRA 7.x plugins are present within Aria Orchestrator 8.x.

Resolution

Prerequisites

• Please take simultaneous non-memory snapshots of each virtual appliance(s) in the cluster.
• Access to vRO Control Center username and password.

Procedure

1. Follow the instructions located in Delete a Plug-In for any vRA 7.x plugin.
