Alternatively, we can choose to downgrade the adapter to version 2.6 in order to resume adapter collection until the release of MP4H 2.7.

Symptoms:
After upgrading the Horizon management pack to version 2.6.1-22191615, the VMware Horizon Adapter is experiencing issues.

It displays a warning message stating, "Failed to retrieve version number."

Cause

This issue with the code in MP4H 2.6.1 is already recognized and acknowledged.

It is scheduled to be addressed in the forthcoming release of MP4H 2.7.

Resolution

Workaround:
The code in MP4h 2.6.1 is structured in a way that necessitates the utilization of a lowercase Connection Server URL.

After switching to the lowercase URL format, data collection should have recommenced.
