Certificate is not Trusted warning after replacing default certificates with Custom certificate on the vSphere+ Cloud Gateway

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
- You have replaced the default certificate with a custom certificate.
- You have at least 1 or more intermediate certificates in the chain.

Environment

VMware vSphere+ Cloud Services

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Gateway while using custom certificates with one or more Intermediate certificate authorities.

VMware Engineering is investigating the issue & working on a fix.
There is no workaround for this issue at the moment.

In the meantime, the only way to resolve this is to accept the certificate on the browser.
