Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
After deploying an OVF from the HTML5 vSphere Client, it fails to power ON the virtual machine and displays an error: 

The virtual machine 'VM_NAME' has a required vService dependency 'vCenter Extension Installation' which is not bound to a provider'.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.x

Cause

This issue occurs as currently, the HTML5 vSphere client does not support deploying OVF templates with a vService dependancy.

Resolution

Currently, there is no resolution.


Workaround:
Use the vSphere Web Client to deploy OVF virtual appliances that use vService extensions.
