Environment

Cause
This issue occurs because the virtual machine is configured to pass through a host PCI device, but that device does not exist currently. The PCI device might have been removed from the mother board or cannot work.
Resolution
To work around this issue:
Open the VMware Infrastructure (VI) Client. Select the ESXi host. Click Configuration > Advanced Settings > Refresh . Check if the device is still available. If not, remove the pass through setting from the virtual machine.
