Issue/Introduction

The host operating system support data are removed from the VMware Compatibility Guide (VCG) to other Knowledge Base articles (KBs).

 

This article provides reference to other KBs that contain the host operating system support data for each of the affected products.

Resolution

The host operating system compatibility information for these products is moved from the VCG to these locations:

• vCenter Server, vSphere Update Manger and vRealize Orchestrator (formerly known as VMware vCenter Orchestrator) - Supported host operating systems for VMware vCenter Server installation (2091273)
• vSphere Client (Windows) - Supported host operating systems for vSphere Client (Windows) installation (2100436)
• VMware Workstation - Supported host operating systems for VMware Workstation (2088579)
• VMware Player - See VMware Workstation, as the compatibility information is the same.
• VMware Fusion - Supported host operating systems for VMware Fusion and VMware Fusion Pro (2088571)
