vRealize Operations Manager does not work properly in Chrome 70.x and later for touch devices

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Scroll bars are not visible in vRealize Operations Manager running in Chrome 70.x and later on touch enabled devices.
• Scrolling does not function in vRealize Operations Manager running in Chrome 70.x and later on touch enabled devices.

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations Manager 7.0.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.7.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.6.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting vRealize Operations Manager 6.6.1 - 7.0 in Chrome 70.x and later on touch enabled devices.

This issue is resolved in vRealize Operations Manager 7.5, available at VMware Downloads.

Workaround:
To work around this issue, use one of the following options:

• Use another web browser to access vRealize Operations Manager.
• Use a non touch enabled device to access vRealize Operations Manager.
• Disable the touch capability on your device.

Example: Disable HID-compliant touch screen in Windows Device Manager.
