How to setup the tcp_proxy probe

Issue/Introduction

Question: 

Do you setup the tcp_proxy probe when on the server side?  on the client side?

Environment:  

UIM Server:  Any current release up to and including 8.31 at the time this document was published
tcp_proxy:  Any version up to and including 1.10 at the time this document was published

Answer: 

Server side:
(where a service is listening for connections)

- Setup tcp_proxy probe:
Server host: it could be set to 'localhost' or actual host name
Server port: destination service port
Listen port: it could be any available port which will receive connection(s) from clients and re-direct to "Server port"

client side:
(making connection to service port on server side)

- Setup tcp_proxy port:
Server host: host name of the server side of tcp_proxy probe
Server port:  "Listen port" on server side of tcp_proxy probe
Listen port: any locally available port which will redirect connection(s) to "Server port"(on client side), which is the "Listen port" on server side

Additional Information:

tcp_proxy over a hub-tunnel:

When connecting across a tunnel, enter robot address in "Proxy" field and leave "Server host" blank.
