Issue:
Dragging a robot into the archive and redistributing does not work.
Environment:
This is general information applicable to most UIM versions.
Cause:
Most likely, an INVALID OS is being used on the target Robot for the given package being distributed.
Resolution:
In general, when you create a probe template the distsrv probe uses the source OS for the OSType/OS fields in the probe package. The OS field filled in when you drag from a Windows 2003 server, is Windows 2003. This is not a valid OS name.
To correct this issue edit the probe package in the archive and change the OS to win32.
