Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
After upgrading to vSphere 6.0 with a vRealize Operation Manager release that is prior to version 5.8.5, you experience these symptoms:
  • The vSphere Web Client 6.0 displays an internal error.
  • When logging in to the vSphere Web Client 6.0, you see the error:
An Internal Error has occurred - Unable to load resource module from /monitoring-ui/locales/monitoring-ui-en_US.swf

VMware vCenter Operations Manager vCenter Operations Manager (Standalone) 5.x
VMware vCenter Operations Manager vCenter Operations Manager (Standalone) 5.7.x
VMware vCenter Operations Manager (vApp) 5.7.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.0.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.0.x

Cause

This issue occurs because vRealize Operations Manager versions prior to 5.8.5 are not supported in the vSphere 6.0 environment. For more information, see the VMware Product Interoperability Matrixes.

Resolution
