Issue/Introduction

Receiving DSA File alarms, for example:

"DSA file NotFound is True, which is = true"

Component: ad_server probe

Resolution

The ad_server probe is delivered with a default configuration, with a selected set of profiles to be monitored. These usually require some adjustments, such as the path for the DSA file. 

ad_server probe DSA file monitoring defaults to C:\Windows\NTDS\

In several instances of the probe, the path had to be adjusted to D:\WINNT\NTDS then the alarms were automatically cleared.
