How to create an Auto-Operator profile from an alarm message

Issue/Introduction

This article describes a method for creating a nas profile from an alarm message.

It is useful to be able to create a nas profile for alarms that are delivered from a probe yet there is no profile configured to alert or notify the correct personnel to handle the alarm.

 

Environment

UIM 8.x or later

Resolution

Open the nas probe configuration gui in Infrastructure Manager and select the Status tab.

Select an alarm from the Status tab in the nas, right-click and select Create -> Auto Operator Profile

• This will fill in the filter fields.

You can customize alarm filter as required.
