Issue/Introduction
A reboot of an ESXi host lists the Native Multipathing Plugin (NMP) device information in an arbitrary order. Because the Host Profile compliance checker requires the device order to be sorted, the compliance check fails on hosts with such configuration and results in the following compliance error:
Specification state absent from the host: SATP configuration for device naa.xxxxxxxxxxxxx needs to be updated Host state doesn't match specification: SATP configuration for device naa.xxxxxxxxxxxxx needs to be updated
Where xxxxxxxxxxxxx is the device naa ID.
Environment
VMware vCenter Server 5.1.x VMware vSphere ESXi 5.1 VMware vSphere ESXi 5.5 VMware vCenter Server 5.5.x
