Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Exclude I/O Statistics from SDRS option is deselected after restarting vCenter Server 6.x

Environment

VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.5.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.0.x

Cause

This issue occurs when:

• The Stats collection by-default irrespective of previous recommendation option is enabled.
• The StorageIORM Configuration (SIOC) parameter is not persistent in the database

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vCenter Server 6.7 available at VMware Downloads.

To workaround this issue, select the Exclude I/O Statistics from SDRS optionafter the vCenter Server is restarted.
