Cause
This issue occurs when there is an issue with the xenon service and it is not responding.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in VMware vRealize Automation 7.4, available at
VMware Downloads.
To workaround this issue, check and restore the xenon service in the vRealize Automation appliance.
- Verify the xenon service is running on all the nodes:
- Open an SSH or console session to the vRA appliance.
- Check the xenon service status by running this command:
service xenon-service status_cluster
- If there is no response or error on any of the nodes, stop the xenon service on all of the nodes by logging into each vRA node using SSH or console.
service xenon-service stop
- Start the xenon service on each node, one by one by running this command:
service xenon-service start
- Verify that the xenon service is running as expected using this command:
service xenon-service status_cluster
- Verify that all nodes have the status AVAILABLE.
- When xenon service is running on all nodes, go back to the UI and attempt deleting the business group.
