VMware Aria Suite

When viewing cluster status in the control center of embedded vRealize Orchestrator nodes located on vRealize Automation appliances, you see these symptoms:
  • You see error similar to:

    A configuration synchronization is required.

  • You do not see an option to manually synchronize the cluster nodes.

VMware vRealize Automation 7.2.x
VMware vRealize Orchestrator 7.2.x

This issue occurs when the vRealize Orchestrator nodes become out of sync. Recent versions of vRealize Automation have the option to sync the nodes manually.

This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Automation 7.x.
Currently, there is no resolution.

To work around this issue :

  • Take a snapshot/ backup of your vRealize Automation nodes prior to making any of these changes.
  • Ensure there are no vRealize Orchestrator related activities running on the nodes currently.
  1. Navigate to the cluster page and add ?advanced to the end of the URL to show the hidden options.

    For example: https://vra01.corp.local:8283/vco-controlcenter/#/control-app/ha?advanced

  2. Select Synchronize, push Configuration and restart nodes.
