To resolve the Pool is shut down error when logging in to the vSphere Web Client, restart the vSphere Web Client services.
Symptoms:
When using VMware vRealize Operations in your environment, you experience these symptoms when logging into the vSphere Web Client:
- You see the error:
A server error occurred.
[400] An error occurred while processing the authentication response from the vCenter Single Sign-On server.
Details: Pool is shut down...
Check the vSphere Web Client server logs for details.
- In the C:\ProgramData\vCenterServer\logs\vsphere-client\logs\vsphere_client_virgo.log file, you see entries similar to:
[2015-07-24T11:15:30.877-05:00] [ERROR] http-bio-9443-exec-31 70005834 100021 200006 com.vmware.vsphere.client.security.VimAuthenticationHandler Connection failure to vc https://web_client_server:443/sdk java.util.concurrent.RejectedExecutionException: Pool is shut down.
