Resolution

To confirm App Volumes configuration, check the relevant registry keys on the App Volumes Manager and the App Volumes Agent machine.
 

Registry Information on the App Volumes Manager

To check the App Volumes Manager registry key HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Wow6432Node\CloudVolumes\Manager:
  1. From the App Volumes Manager server, click Start and type regedit in the search window.
  2. Click regedit.exe.
  3. Navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Wow6432Node\CloudVolumes\Manager.
     
The App Volumes Manager key HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Wow6432Node\CloudVolumes\Manager allows you to verify HTTP and HTTPS ports, SQL database information, and the App Volumes version number. Check the HTTP_PORT and HTTPS_PORT values to easily identify non-default ports.
 
This table gives the list of some keys and their values:

Registry Information on the App Volumes Agent Machine

On the App Volumes Agent machine, check these keys:
  • HKLM\Software\CloudVolumes\Agent
  • HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\svservice\parameters
 
To check the Agent key:
  1. On the App Volumes Agent machine, click Start and type regedit in the search window.
  2. Click regedit.exe.
  3. Navigate to:

    HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\CloudVolumes\Agent

    You can see information such as the vCenter Server name, the App Volumes Manager host name, the port number used, and the App Volumes product version.

The Parameters key lists all App Volumes Manager servers in the environment.
 
To check this Parameters key:
  1. On the App Volumes Agent machine, click Start and type regedit in the search window.
  2. Click regedit.exe.
  3. Navigate to:

    HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\services\svservice\Parameters
 
This table shows two App Volumes Manager servers. The value contains the App Volumes Manager host name and the port number.
