Management Pack Compatibility in VMware Aria Operations 8.10 and Later

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
If a management pack is not compatible with VMware Aria Operations (formerly known as vRealize Operations)
8.10 or later and/or JDK 11, you may see behavior similar to, but not limited to, the following:

• Failure to start to adapter instance.
• The adapter instance cannot collect data.
• The adapter instance does not work as intended.

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.12.x
VMware vRealize Operations 8.10.x

Cause

As a result of the OpenJDK update in vRealize Operations 8.10, some management packs might not be compatible with JDK11 and would require an upgrade to a JDK 11 compatible version.  Contact the vendor to confirm if the management pack is compatible with vRealize Operations 8.10 and later.

Resolution

The following tables show the 1st and 3rd party Management Packs and solutions that are known to be incompatible with vRealize Operations 8.10 and later, and the updated version that resolves compatibility if available.
