ECMP across different ASN is not available

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Equal-cost multi-path (ECMP) across different ASN support is not available.

Environment

VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.x
VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.x
VMware NSX for vSphere 6.2.x

Cause

This issue occurs because the support for multiple ECMP is not available.

Note: The Edges forming ECMP should be on the same ASN.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure that all the ESGs are in the same ASN while configuring routing between DLR and ESG in ECMP environment. This recommendations applies to the TORs facing the ESGs.

Impact/Risks:
Only one route will be selected for the data traffic.
