Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Migrate Configuration step of V2T migration fails with error: "Reason: HTTP Error: 400: Field level validation errors: {value '<value>' of property expression[0].ip_addresses[0] violates format 'address-or-block-or-range'} for url: localhost:6440/policy/api/v1/infra/domains/default/groups/ipaddress-group-<UUID>"

IPAddressExpressionGroup objects show incomplete Mapped Object Count in Migration window:

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX Data Center for vSphere 6.4.x

Cause

NSX-V ESG Firewall has rules with invalid entries manually typed into in 'IP Addresses' field of Source or Destination configuration:

Resolution

Remove invalid entries typed into in 'IP Addresses' field in NSX-V Edge Firewall rules.

Note that "Any" is the default value if no IP addresses or ranges are entered
