Issue/Introduction

A reboot or shutdown event occurs if the reboot or shutdown is performed through vCenter Server, the DCUI, or by entering the reboot command in the ESXi shell. The event does not occur if you enter the reboot -f, halt -f, or poweroff -f commands.
