[dcim] Configuration was unable to be retrieved

Issue/Introduction

The dcim.log file contains the following error:

2015-09-10 03:13:54,327 [main] ERROR init() failed
2015-09-10 03:13:54,327 [main] ERROR (90) Configuration error, No value found for key resources/null/name

Cause

The "null" resource in the <resources> section of the dcim.cfg file is invalid.

This looks like the following in the dcim.cfg file:

<resources>
 <null>
 active = false
 </null>
</resources>

Resolution

To delete this, open the dcim Raw Configure GUI, expand the resources folder in the left-hand pane, select the null folder under the resources folder, then select the "Delete Section" button on the left.

Apply the change and restart the dcim probe.? This should clear the PPM-023 error when trying to configure the probe.
