Issue/Introduction

Summary

The following event appears when a new vmknic is added or the firewall module is reloaded:

Port %s is now protected by Firewall.

The operation %s is the VMkernel port name, such as vmk2.

Impact

The new VMkernel interface is under the protection of the firewall. All selected rule sets are applied.

Resolution

No user action is required.
