Login error received when plug-ins take longer than expected to install

Issue/Introduction

After successfully restoring the vSphere Web Client, you might receive the following error message when logging in:

Some registered login handlers didn't complete on time. Login proceeded without waiting any further. The vSphere Client may have limited functionality until these handlers complete. See the log for additional details.

You receive this message when some plug-ins take longer than expected to install. You might have to wait longer than 2 minutes for the plug-ins to finish installing.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.5.x
VMware vSphere ESXi 6.5

Resolution

Try to log in after waiting at least 2 minutes, when all plug-ins should be installed and running.
