Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Viewing the real time performance charts for networking of a virtual machine in the VMware vSphere Client 6.0 displays the error:
  
  No metrics Specified
  
  
• The virtual machine is configured with the vmxnet3 adapter.
• When selecting the chart options, the vSwitch Networking option is unavailable.
• Virtual machines configured with E1000 network adapters are not affected.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 6.0
VMware vCenter Server 6.0.x

Resolution
