This issue is resolved in vRealize Log Insight 8.1.1 available at
VMware Downloads.
Workaround:
To workaround this issue in vRealize Log Insight 8.0, and 8.1, configure the Marketplace password in the Log Insight configuration.
- Navigate to the internal configuration page at https://LogInsight_Address/internal/config and log in using the local admin user.
- Check the Show all settings box.
- Find the marketplace-username and marketplace-password settings and configure them accordingly:

- Click Save.
