Issue/Introduction

This is an informational event that indicates the host is shutting down.

A reboot or shutdown event occurs if the reboot or shutdown is performed through vCenter Server, the DCUI, or by specifically entering the poweroff command in the ESXi shell. The event does not occur if you run the reboot -f, halt -f, or poweroff -f commands.
