VIC Project creation fails and reports "Project Name Invalid"

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

When creating a new project in the VIC management portal, it reports an error "! Project name is invalid." This occurs when upper case letters are used in the name of the project.

Environment

VMware vSphere Integrated Containers 1.x

Resolution

This is caused due to VIC registry which uses the docker registry API specifications. The specification do not allow for the use of upper case project names.   Please reference https://docs.docker.com/registry/spec/api/#overview documentation. To resolve this issue create the project name with all lower case letters.
