Apply these steps if Configured is listed as true after running the command:
esxcli system coredump partition list
To resolve this issue, set the coredump partition to active.
To set the coredump partition to active:
- Connect to the ESXi host through an SSH session. For more information, see Using ESXi Shell in ESXi 5.x (2004746).
- Run this command to set the coredump partition to active:
esxcli system coredump partition set --enable true
