This issue may occur if the Windows user account password used for WMI discovery is reset. Resetting the password may cause WMI discovery to fail with partial results.
To resolve this issue, change the password back to the original password.
Note: For credential issues during WMI discovery, check the Security Event log for account log in failures on the target host. There are several Error Codes resulting from Event ID 680:
- 0xC000006A – User had tried to log in and entered the password incorrectly.
- 0xC000006F – User was prevented from logging in due to a log on time restriction.
- 0xC0000064 – User had triedto log in with a non-existent account.
- 0xC0000070 – User had attempted to log in to a computer that they are not allowed to login to.
- 0xC0000071 – User's password has expired.
- 0xC0000072 – User had entered a wrong password too many times and the account has been disabled.
