Issue/Introduction

Issue: 

Flexeraawy$aaa: Windows DLL failed to load when installing UIM 8.x on Windows 2012 R2

Environment:  

Windows 2012 R2

Unified Infrastructure Management – 8.x

Cause: 

These errors may be due to a known issue with Windows 2012 R2 and JRE 1.7.0_55.

Resolution:

 

The solution is to use any JRE version between 1.7.0_06 and 1.7.0_51 (inclusive)

1) Install JRE 1.7.0_51 64-bit or earlier and run the installer normally

2) Using JRE 1.7.0_55 64-bit, right-click and edit the properties to say run in Compatibility mode for 'Windows 7'

3) Install any JRE 1.60 64-bit version to the box and try installing again.
